Below are some examples of brands that have successfully worked with AND products. We cannot endorse or guarantee any specific model, but several have proven reliable.

Switches / Midspan / Repeaters

PoE ports must carry 15.4 W (IEEE 802.3af). Lower port numbers generally work better in some brands, especially if higher port numbers lose some power when lower ports power other PoE devices. Choose a reputable switch and understand its power delivery capabilities. Brands that have worked fairly consistently include:

  • D-Link
  • Adtran Netvanta
  • Cisco
  • HP
  • Juniper
  • PowerDsine
  • Dell
